Love Writing Co. started as an idea: make learning to write genuinely enjoyable for children. The challenge was building a brand from scratch that could speak credibly and warmly to three very different audiences, parents, children, and teachers, while driving commercial performance from day one.
The Make Group created the brand from the ground up: strategy, name, identity, packaging, and a full integrated launch spanning digital, social, TV, out-of-home, PR and Amazon. An eCommerce platform built for conversion sat at the centre of it all.
Results:
Love Writing Co. generated over 12,000 orders in its launch year at a cost per acquisition of £3.75, with traffic ranking in the top 2% of sites launched in the same period. The brand subsequently attracted a trade sale, exiting to Booghe Toys in 2024.
