Mark Sherwood

Co-founder and Managing Director

Mark is a business leader and founder with 25+ years of experience leading international businesses and building ventures from the ground up.

 

As EVP Worldwide Managing Director at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, he held full P&L accountability for the General Mills global relationship – one of Publicis Groupe’s largest – spanning 20+ markets and brands including Häagen-Dazs, Cheerios and Pillsbury. As Global Chief Strategy Officer at Imagination, he worked directly with senior leadership at Shell, Ford and HSBC on strategic direction, brand architecture and commercial positioning.

 

He has also built and successfully sold his own consumer brand – giving him a founder’s understanding of what it actually takes to grow a business from the inside.

 

He now leads The Make Group, working with CEOs, founders and leadership teams at moments that matter: scaling, repositioning and preparing for investment or exit. The work is strategic and practical in equal measure. And the model is simple: The Make Group’s success is directly aligned with yours.

Rocio Carvajal

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer

Rocio is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at The Make Group, leading the development of digital platforms and eCommerce ecosystems that drive measurable commercial performance.

 

With 20 years’ experience across digital strategy, eCommerce and customer experience, she has designed, built and scaled high-performing platforms for some of the world’s most recognised brands. Prior to founding The Make Group, she was Head of eCommerce and Digital at Innovation 1st, delivering commerce platforms and digital experiences for organisations including Amazon, Shell, Sky, Formula E and Quantcast. 

 

She brings end-to-end capability across the full digital build – from customer journey mapping and UX design through to platform architecture, build and optimisation. It is this combination of strategic thinking and technical execution that sits at the heart of how The Make Group delivers for its clients.

 

At The Make Group, Rocio works closely with founders and leadership teams to translate commercial ambition into digital infrastructure – building the platforms, experiences and ecosystems that turn strong brands into scalable businesses.
